Empty streets because of coronavirus

Empty streets because of coronavirus

Probably nothing is stranger than seeing the city suddenly become deserted for fear of the coronavirus. A city of about 200,000 inhabitants, Bournemouth has become increasingly lifeless and uninhabited. In the absence of people, it is just a wilderness and there is a beauty in this wilderness because the architectural forms of the city are more prominent.

It's a spectacular sight and, at the same time, frightening, so it's beautiful. Incredible images from 8 and 9 April 2020 captured on a Sony Alpha a7iii show Empty streets in Bournemouth, England.

Lecture 1 - Video Basics

What is Light?

Lighting plays an essential role in video production. Both natural and artificial lighting can create atmosphere and mood, a sense of balance and dimension. Can help draw attention to specific parts of a subject, define colors, create forms and generally to produce an acceptable picture in a video movie.

Scanning / Raster

A raster image is composed of pixels broken into a grid of dots. The color values of each dot are stored in the image files with varying formats. The level of detail of an individual image is dependent on the pixel size, or spatial resolution, of the raster.

Image rasters can be read as lines which are formed into fields and frames. Light can be expressed as a sum of Red, Green and Blue values. Y=R+G+B. RGB signal can be expressed as a series of Luminance and Colour Difference signals:

-Y, (B-Y), (R-Y); or YCbCr

Technique. This animation uses expressions instead of keyframes to dynamically animate titles in After Effects. You need to have good knowledge of After Effects in order to change the default project settings.

Text Animations With Expressions

You can set an expression for the Position property in text layers and animate the Orientation property of a layer. Add an expression to a text layer property in this example to link the Position property of a word The.

temp = text.animator("Animator 1").property.position;[temp[0], temp[1], temp[1]]
